Day 81 Fido’s re-born

20th October 2017

Fido’s coffin is finally finished, with a lick of paint it has been transformed from the item Kelli had picked up a few weeks ago. It has been a labour of love, but I managed to use most of the original timber in the new along with some old pallet wood from my stock. The only parts I had to buy were the hinges and the door knob.

When the door is opened there is this great smell of cedar that will waft around the nostrils.

Kelli did a great paint job on the four drawer dresser, these will be taken to Hudsonville in the morning.

I have been a bit wobbly as my cold develops, if I’m not busy, and stop for a bit, I just want to sit.

I might have done a bit too much by sweeping the leaves, but the sun was shining and it was warm, and I forgot I was still sick, so a quiet day tomorrow.
