Day 861 Trashless

18th December 2019

The highlight of the day was the arrival of new filters for our kitchen compost collector.

This has changed the way we dispose of our rubbish.

The wheelie bin hardly has anything for the dustmen to collect. There is a scrabble around to find rubbish to throw away. This could be an excellent opportunity to get rid of the televisions we have stored in the shed, if Kelli would let me.

The compost festers quietly in the corner of the garden, it’s one of the most visited places in the garden, apart from the dog bog.

I have been priming the panels of the TV cabinet. It takes ages, and the primer ( the best you can buy!) is so thin, it needs three coats to cover anything.

The POS cabinet has been primed and ready for the finish coat. There is so much filler in it the weight has nearly doubled.

I watched the impeachment proceedings on my iPad, this is such a controversial subject, I needed to educate myself.

Having worked with a number of Americans I was always struck by their ability to avoid admitting mistakes. Even with things that were obviously bad, and I pointed them out many times, they lumbered on until something broke.

They live in a world of collective responsibility where not one person is to blame.

Watching what was being broadcast was jaw-dropping, I have never seen so many dumb twats in one place, all following the thickest twat to have ever been voted president.
