Day 2682 A full tree again.

18th December 2024

It was shopping day yet again, it doesn’t seem a week since the last time.

Kelli put up our mini tree last night, it turned out not to be half a tree after all. All the branches were bent around the front giving the appearance that it was flat on the back. Now it is back to its proper self. It came with lights which are not my choice, but they work, and that’s fine with me, I have better things to think about.

All the German biscuits have gone from Aldi, these reminded me of my childhood when we received the Christmas parcels from my German grandparents. These tasted completely different from English biscuits, plus all the different sausages that were included, made the season very special, and these are things that I alway remember.

We started to collect the food items for the family Christmas feast. Kelli’s mum was suppling the cold meats, but asked us to buy them, as we were doing our shopping.

I know Kelli is down for making the fresh bread, hopefully she will make two loaves, I could eat one all to myself.

There was a bit of morning drama at five thirty, but thankfully we were able to go back to sleep.

This whole journey that Kelli is on is a new learning experience for me, I share the same degree of anxiety, to the point that I’m frightened to go to sleep, anticipating waking up at the early time, feeling anger for things I do not know, and constantly trying to think of a solution.

I hope, when we move our fence, and add some mass to the panels, it will go a small way to lessen the sound, or we can get him to leave, using the power of thought, a lot of thought.

I am a practical person, I love making things, and especially working with wood. I appreciate good design, music and food.
