It’s here again, Christmas Eve, all the weeks of build up comes to an end. Although I like the season, what I miss was the holiday, that time between Christmas and new year.
It was precious, that feeling of dread at the end of New Year’s Day knowing that the countdown to work day has begun.
Now there is no distinction, every day could be the same, but we’re not on the clock, we are our own boss, I like that.
Shopping day was brought forward, there were a few things we collected as emergency stock, in case one of the family failed to honour their commitments and bring the delegated food to the table. I shouldn’t be so negative, but my experience does not give me cause to feel confident. So with all the food safety in the back of the truck, the next was to Best Buy to return the ear buds. I thought there would be more resistance from the store, but it was easy, no questions, all monies were returned.
Then it was back home, we had furniture to post.
We took pictures of the dresser, side tables and cedar chest. As it is Christmas we don’t expect to sell much, unless people have spare money to spend, and would like nice furniture to buy for their spare room of holiday home, if so, we are here.
