Snow continued for most of the day, ranging from light sprinkles to quite heavy, it looks nice as long as you don’t go out in it.
I had to go out in it, It was my beer tasting with Lloyd. Yes, the new year beer had the same taste as last year, crisis averted.
I had done a few things in the garage to help Kelli do painting whilst I was out enjoying myself.
I don’t think the city was ready for the snow this time, because the roads were not salted or ploughed, maybe the department in city hall were asleep.
I finally got around to posting my personal tribute to Rog Bush on the Water Carrier’s of Herman Miller Facebook page. He was director of Product Development for seating at the Design Yard. He had died two years ago, I only learned that at Steve Kubica’s party.
Rog was an old style engineer who had worked his way up over thirty three years. He was a modest, quiet man who loved sailing. I last talked with him about four years ago at one of Steve’s party, he told me many stories of things that went on in the company, often filling in gaps that I didn’t know about.
I was sad that he had gone, and I was thankful that I had known him.
