Day 2823 Sleep treatment

8th May 2025

Kelli was suffering, she awoke early again, like she had an alarm clock inside that she had no control over. She was very emotional, finding it difficult to speak without breaking down.

Desperate times require desperate measures, so she called her doctor’s office and managed to get an appointment with another kinesiologist.

She had reasons to believe that her adrenals were effecting her sleep, so she had bought a supplement that targeted it, but she wanted to be tested on it to ensure that it was suitable.

We drove to Zeeland for her appointment.

She was met by Brandon, a young doctor who she had seen before, so it wasn’t starting from scratch. The resistance tests showed that this adrenal supplement was good for her, so that was one tick on the checklist.

The view was her stomach was cramped up and not allowing the digestion process to function properly, this is known as to affect sleep, and could be the reason why she wakes up early.

What followed was a manipulation of the stomach to stretch it downward giving space for the digestive juices more space to work efficiently. Now I have heard that there is weird sensation when this action is done, so I was keen to hear what it felt like. Certainly Brandon felt the stomach move, but Kelli couldn’t describe the feeling.

So with her adrenal liquid and a stretched stomach it will be interesting to see the results tonight.

Finally both the rocker and the small chair were finished, and the lady came to collect them. She had chosen the paint, and was delighted with the result. The small chair belonged to her mother who she wanted to visit straight after, and present it to her. We heard later that she absolutely loved it.

I later walked down to do the repair to the other lady’s dresser drawers. I replaced the three plastic clips that had broken, and removed the damaged track.

She did ask me a strange question though.

“ What does bugger mean?” Apparently one of her friends used it during a pickleball game, but they had no idea what it meant.

I had to think for a moment how I could explain it without being too crude. After a few false starts I managed to describe it as simply as I could.

A look of horror came over her face, as well as a bit of embarrassment.

I said, that I would like to be a fly on the wall when you explain that to your friend.
