Day 3091 Moonlight and noses

31st January 2026

I was looking at the moon tonight, I often do that, and each time I conclude that there is no way it reflects the sun. It was in a clear dark sky, and there it was totally shining, as if there was an internal light, you could read a book by it. It definitely isn’t reflected, it has a cold light, it is amazing, and I don’t believe it’s a quarter of a million miles away.

We finally sold Henry’s dresser to a great couple in Holland. They both came originally from California, she an interior designer, and he a music teacher. They loved the piece so much, and they showed us around their fabulous home. It was very traditional, there have only been two owners since it was built nearly one hundred and  fifty years ago.

We have met many interesting people since we have been doing the furniture lark, it make what we do more pleasing for us.

To top it all they gave us their old dresser, so a win win for us.

We even managed to find a piece at Goodwill, hopefully there might be more activity next month.

I am a practical person, I love making things, and especially working with wood. I appreciate good design, music and food.
