10th September 2017
Today I got to do some socialising, I met up with an old friend Steve Kubica. Steve worked at Herman Miller, and during late 1985 through mid 1987 came to Bath to lead the engineering of the European version of Ethospace.
I always tried to keep connected with him, even when he left HM and moved to California.
He recently bought a house in Saugatuck so I called him and arranged to meet for lunch.
He gave me directions to his new house, which was pretty amazing. Situated on the river bank it was no ordinary place. Built on three levels there was a self-contained appointment on the ground floor. There were bathrooms galore, you could go to the bathroom on the way to the bathroom.

Steve was the same as ever, smiling and full of wise cracks. We had a great lunch talking about old times. He was flying out on Tuesday to return to LA, but coming back at the end of the month, I see more beer drinking to come.

I remember Steve well, Peter. I was the Ethospace Production Manager. Say hi from me. I bet he doesn’t remember me!
