Day 692 Another one out the door.

1st July 2019

It’s a wonderful hot day as I get a bit of sun at the bookstore.

We are watching the clock till be can head back.

We have some things to pick up, and new pieces to deliver to the new place, then back to the house for the collection of the commissioned piece. Although this was just a strip and paint job it took a bit longer than we thought, but it was good to get it out of the garage to start its new life in a child’s bedroom.

I continued to work on the two desk pedestals, doing a bit of repair work, and more sanding.

I had bought some more garden fertiliser for the back lawn, so that had to be spread.

I carefully measured out the quantity I needed, and loaded the spreader. The instructions stated to distribute the mix evenly to avoid “stripes” so I was conscious of that as I tried to follow the tracks left by the spreader, which was not always possible. As it happened I had to go across the lawn to use up the stuff, so I will expect a chess board effect no doubt.

I am a practical person, I love making things, and especially working with wood. I appreciate good design, music and food.
