Once there is a paintbrush in her hand Kelli becomes a painting machine. Two carcasses were subject to her activity. I was struggling with a top for one of the dressers. I had to replace the front with a new piece of oak salvaged from another piece we had earlier in the year.
This meant setting up my skill saw to zip it off.
Things were going well until “Zing!” I hit a staple, bugger. Fortunately there was only one, the rest of the cut was uneventful.
I laid up the new front strip to the top and left it to dry, which takes an age in the new cold temperature.
The garage is in a mess, there is paint scrapings over the floor, I try to clean up as I go, but because I flit around from piece to piece I end up depositing crap everywhere I go.
