Yes we are effin crazy.
We picked up the new pup from the shelter in the morning. He is the same colour as Winnie but not half as energetic. Most dogs from shelters are painfully thin and smelly. The first order is to give him a shower to remove the scank. Once that was done he had a bowl of food. That disappeared in record time.
The name they gave him, Tater is not my favourite, I think Spud might be more appropriate, Kelli already has a list of name variations that have been tested, but as of now it hasn’t been formalised.
Phoebe has the same look of “Oh no not another one” and Winnie just wants to be friends.
It will take a few more days for him to settle into our routine, but compared to what he has been living for the past nine months it will be like heaven.
For us? We shall see.
