I had to go the Menards to order five sheets of OSB so that I can lay the maple flooring we got free a year or so ago ( maybe longer)
I asked if they could be delivered. I walked around to the transport department and gave my request. He told me it would cost $108. That was over twice the value of the boards, I quickly rejected that idea.
I have two options, I could rent the company pickup truck for $19 for seventy five minutes, or try to strap it to the roof of our truck.
I also stopped at the Autospares store to pick up the pipe for the power steering, now I have to plan that little task.
I finally had a coffee with Randy the upholstery guy, it’s been ages trying to organise it, but we went to the place next to his workshop and spent an hour just talking about stuff. We share many issues and concerns, and being a sensitive person, has suffered anxiety and stress. Having been unable to work for three weeks put him back, leading to a bad period of playing catch-up, but he was now in a much better place.
